A global investment group and leading Independent Power Producer (IPP) is developing a large-scale portfolio of photovoltaic plants across Eastern Europe. The portfolio includes thousands of sites with a combined capacity of several gigawatts. The client required comprehensive support across all stages of project development — from design and engineering to financing and commercialization.

Challenge

Coordinating a multi-country portfolio of this scale demanded consistent technical standards, structured project management, and efficient collaboration with local authorities, suppliers, and lenders. The key objective was to ensure reliability and bankability across a diverse set of locations and regulatory frameworks.

Our Role

Green Energy Venture provided end-to-end project support, covering:

• Engineering and design of multiple PV sites from concept through execution.
• Preparation of technical feasibility reports and component assessments, including manufacturing site visits.
• Supervision and management of construction activities to maintain quality and timelines.
• Financing advisory and coordination with lenders and investors.
• Support in marketing and commercialization through PPA origination and asset management.

Outcome

The projects were successfully advanced through development, financing, and construction, establishing one of the largest distributed PV portfolios in the region. The collaboration demonstrates Green Energy Venture’s ability to manage complex, multi-market renewable projects from concept to operational delivery.
